Job description

Come and join one of the UK's largest independent providers in neuro and mental healthcare. We proudly employ over 4000+ people - no matter what your experience, we have jobs for everyone.

Step into a specialist neurorehabilitation career with Active Neuro part of Active Care Group.

We're redefining what's possible in neurological rehabilitation, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (equivalent to Band 5 level) to join our friendly and forward-thinking team in Nottingham.

In this role, you'll work with clients at varying stages of their rehabilitation journey, focusing on restoring function, independence, and quality of life. Our multidisciplinary approach integrates NHS, private, and medicolegal pathways, allowing you to contribute to longer‑term, outcome‑focused rehabilitation programmes rather than time‑limited interventions.

Main duties of the job

What you'll love about this role:

Varied clinical experience: work with neurological conditions, polytrauma, amputations, and catastrophic injuries

Access to innovative technology: including Luna Robotic EMG, Exo Motus, and Arm Motus to enhance rehabilitation outcomes

Continuity of care: work across both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting clients at every stage of their recovery

Room to grow: supported by an experienced MDT, you'll develop skills in areas such as cognitive and perceptual rehabilitation, splinting, adaptive equipment, and neuropsychologically‑informed practice

Service development: contribute ideas, shape new approaches, and help drive continual improvement within our Nottingham service

Collaboration: work closely with our wider Active Neuro network, sharing knowledge and connecting with colleagues across other specialist sites

Professional development: access tailored CPD and learning opportunities, plus external events with partners such as Headway and the Spinal Injuries Association

If you're an early‑career Occupational Therapist with a passion for neurorehabilitation, we'd love to hear from you. Join a service that values creativity, curiosity, and meaningful outcomes - helping people rebuild their lives, one goal at a time.

Please note - this advert will close once we have received a sufficient number of applications.
