The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Attend clients' operational sites to safely perform scheduled monitoring to determine occupational exposure to dust, fume, noise, vibration and other workplace health hazards
• Prepare detailed technical occupational hygiene reports to SOCOTEC’s high quality standards
• Comply with SOCOTEC’s various management systems (Health & safety, Environmental, Quality)
• Be proactive in maintaining your occupational hygiene continuous professional development (CPD)

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Relevant BOHS / IOA qualifications - (Minimum 1 relevant BOHS module)
• Degree in a science-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Environmental Science, Occupational Hygiene)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal skills to gain the confidence and cooperation of the client’s workforce
• An ability to self-manage workload & deadlines
• Full UK driving licence willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
