Overview

Nursing Home Manager — Lowestoft | £65,000-£70,000

Developing care provider based in the South of England seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a 60-bed nursing and residential service in a seaside town. Dementia and general elderly care are the focus, with a strong emphasis on high quality care and meeting CQC standards.

Our client will provide significant support to help you succeed in the role and will also fund additional qualifications and courses as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a 60-bed nursing and residential service for older adults, including residents with dementia.
• Ensure high quality care, compliance with CQC standards, and a positive regulatory relationship.
• Support and develop the care team to deliver person-centered care and maintain a safe, well-led home.
• Collaborate with the Director and contribute to strategic planning and service improvements.

Requirements

• Management qualification
• RGN / RMN with valid PIN or proven experience of managing a nursing home
• Background in elderly and/or dementia care
• Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills
