Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner - Level 3 to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate exceptional management and leadership skills. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development in a nurturing environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences while ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care.

Duties
  • Deliver outstanding childcare and early years education, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Supervise and support children\'s play, learning, and development, ensuring individual needs are met.
  • Manage daily nursery operations, including staff supervision and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Develop and implement educational programmes that stimulate children\'s curiosity and creativity.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children\'s progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere, promoting professional development and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of children\'s development and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children\'s development across all areas of learning.
  • Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child\'s progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects the diverse backgrounds of all children.
  • Lead small groups in educational activities, encouraging participation and collaboration among peers.
  • Maintain accurate records of children\'s development and progress in line with nursery policies.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery\'s educational offerings and overall quality of care.
Qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent is essential.
  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is required.
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A background in childcare or nursery experience is highly desirable.
  • Montessori knowledge and practice is highly desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
