About our Nursery

Join our exceptional team at Busy Bees Nottingham University, an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 96 children. Our nursery features five warm and welcoming base rooms, each designed to provide a stimulating environment for children to grow and develop during their early years. Each room has its own dedicated Astro Turf outdoor area, surrounded by trees and wildlife, allowing children to explore nature and engage in outdoor play. Our long-standing staff team is dedicated to going above and beyond, ensuring that every child in our care receives the best possible start in life. Conveniently located on the Nottingham University campus, close to the QMC hospital, our nursery offers easy access for families and staff alike. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
  • Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
  • Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
  • Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Ideal Candidate
  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience; ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
