The Role

As Room Leader, you’ll guide your team and create a safe, inspiring environment where children can thrive. You’ll work closely with management to ensure high standards of care, learning, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the room, supporting and motivating your team.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS.
  • Support children with SEND and EAL.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with parents.
  • Maintain excellent safeguarding and health & safety standards.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations and accurate record-keeping.
About You
  • Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an early years setting.
  • Previous leadership or senior practitioner experience.
  • Strong EYFS knowledge and organisational skills.
  • Positive, reliable, and a great communicator.
  • Passionate about outdoor learning and children’s wellbeing.
Requirements
