Senior Nursery Practitioner (Level 3+) – Ofsted “Outstanding”

Near Oldham | Full-time | Permanent

Zero2Five are partnering with a high-performing private nursery (Ofsted Outstanding) to appoint an experienced Senior Nursery Nurse/Practitioner. This role suits a Level 3 (or above) professional who’s ready to lead by example, coach others and drive outstanding outcomes for children.

What you’ll lead
  • Take the lead on high-quality, child-centred practice across your room/key group.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate ambitious, age-appropriate learning with clear next steps.
  • Produce accurate observations/assessments (EYFS) and hold confident parent reviews.
  • Model best practice in personal care, routines and behaviour management.
  • Mentor and support junior staff and apprentices; help embed a reflective culture.
  • Contribute to safeguarding, risk assessments and a safe, inclusive environment.
  • Work closely with the management team to raise standards and meet inspection goals.
  • Flex to the needs of the setting (including occasional overtime/keyholder duties).
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher/equivalent).
  • Strong recent experience in a quality Early Years setting, ideally at senior/lead level.
  • Confident EYFS curriculum knowledge and excellent communication with families.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development (online CPD available).
