Qualified Nursery Nurse

Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available | Immediate Start

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Qualified Nursery Nurse to join a warm and supportive early years setting. If you have a passion for helping young children learn, play, and thrive, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the most important stage of a child's development.

About the Role

As a Nursery Nurse, you will support children aged 0-5 across daily routines, learning activities, and play experiences. You will work alongside the nursery team to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can grow and flourish.

Responsibilities
  • Support children's learning and development through planned and spontaneous activities
  • Promote early communication, language, and social skills
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all childrenAssist with daily routines including mealtimes, personal care, and hygiene
  • Observe children's progress and contribute to learning journalsBuild strong relationships with children, staff, and families
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
  • Contribute to planning, organising, and setting up activities
Requirements
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or early years setting
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A nurturing, patient, and positive approach
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable Experience
  • Experience supporting children with SEND
  • Knowledge of behaviour support strategies
  • Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Experience working across baby, toddler, and preschool rooms
