A community school in London is seeking a part-time Midday Assistant to ensure an enjoyable and safe lunchtime experience for children. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to safeguarding and be willing to support individual needs during lunchtime. Training on paediatric first-aid will be provided if not already qualified. This is a part-time role with an hourly rate of £15.25.
Scale point 3 (Outer London)
Contract Type: Part Time 6.25 hours per week / 5 hours per week (nursery) / ADHOC
Term Breakdown: Term Time only (45.05 weeks contract including holidays – not applicable for ADHOC)
Salary: Hourly rate £15.25.
6.25 hours £4,292.40 Gross.
5 hours £3,433.92 Gross

Midday Assistants have a shared role within the school in helping to raise the social achievements of pupils. They are responsible for ensuring that lunchtimes are an enjoyable and safe experience for all the children, so that they are physically and mentally prepared to learn during the afternoon.
