Overview

Nursery Manager (New nursery opening October 2025)

Location: Brentford / Kew TW9 (New nursery opening in October 2025)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Qualification: NVQ/Cache Level 3 or equivalent

Responsibilities
  • Delivering an Early Years curriculum which incorporates Montessori, HighScope and EYFS
  • Creating a warm and welcoming environment for parents and children
  • Recruiting, developing and managing a team of up to 12 staff
  • Selling the nursery to new parents including conducting viewings
  • Responding to all enquiries, both internal and external, in a timely manner
  • Ongoing nursery communications with parents including weekly newsletters
  • Operational planning
  • Budgetary management and reporting
  • Building excellent relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Promoting child welfare and ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Contributing to the reputation of our client’s Nursery Group

What you will bring
  • Experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager
  • NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree or QTS
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and children’s learning and development
  • Experience in dealing with external organisations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivation, innovation and a positive outlook
  • Strong planning, budgeting and organisational skills
  • Lots of energy; and above all, a passion for delivering amazing educational experiences to children
  • An Enhanced DBS check and reference checks will be carried out prior to employment
