Job Summary

We are looking for a Nursery Manager to work in a nursery based in Devises. The salary is up to £42,000 depending on experience and qualifications. The nursery would also be willing to train someone with experience as a Deputy Manager up to be a Manager, so a great opportunity for career progression.

Role

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Work alongside area managers to ensure a smooth handover within the nursery.

Responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, budgets, staffing, intake of children, safeguarding, recruitment of staff, appraisals, team meetings and training courses.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum of Level 3 in childcare and education; further qualifications would be advantageous.

Experience working within a management team and leading a well‑established team of staff.

Ensure children have a safe and happy environment and manage the nursery in line with company policy and OFSTED requirements.
