A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Nurse Team Leader to deliver high standards of specialist nursing care within the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. The Nurse Team Leader will be responsible for delivering a high standard of specialist nursing care to all patients within MVCC. Able to coordinate the overall management of the Unit. The post holder will facilitate the education and support of qualified and unqualified staff and participate in the development of nursing practice in the clinical area. You will be working independently/autonomously without direct supervision, accountable for your own professional actions. The successful candidate will also take an active role in deputising and supporting the Unit Sister.

Our day unit at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC) provides chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies to adult patients.
The unit operates from 08:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday, with 20 treatment chairs. We offer a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,552 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum pro rata.
