A large NHS Trust is seeking a Nurse specialist to manage patient flow for interventional cardiology procedures. You'll handle pre-assessment clinics, perform physical assessments, and provide a Nurse Led Service. This role requires excellent communication skills to counsel patients about their conditions and liaise with the medical team. The Nurse specialist is responsible for the planning and patient flow through to their procedure for patients undergoing interventional cardiology procedures. They will hold the necessary communication skills to be able to counsel patients with regards to their cardiac condition and liaise with members of the MDT as necessary.
