We have expanded our Outpatient Gynaecology Services at the East and North Herts Teaching NHS Trust, and we are looking to recruit another Gynaecology Nurse Practitioners to join our team.

The post holder will work as part of the Gynaecology Nurse Practitioner team to support Gynaecology Outpatient Services ensuring the delivery of high quality and safe care to women attending the Early Pregnancy and Emergency Gynaecology Units as well as offering specialist inpatient support to Gynaecology patients receiving care in the ward setting.
The post holder will take a key role in developing the Gynaecology Specialist Nursing service with the support of the Lead Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists and the Clinical Service Manager and the Matron for Gynaecology.
Work autonomously to provide and implement care for women in accordance with agreed policies and guidelines.
Provide a holistic assessment of women attending the Gynaecology Outpatient Services.
Take responsibility for making differential diagnosis within level of competence. Plan and provide specialist treatment in collaboration with others as appropriate
Provide specialist advice and information to women and their families as well as to junior members of the nursing and medical staff.
