A children's hospice in Corfe Mullen is seeking a Nurse to join their team and provide exceptional care for children with life-limiting conditions. This role involves working with families, delivering high-quality clinical care, and adapting to the specific needs of each child. The successful candidate will have experience in clinical settings, strong communication skills, and a passion for holistic care. Opportunities for professional development will be provided. The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with complex needs. You will have the ability to work both in a team and independently and work using your own initiative as well as accessing and contributing to the skill base of the wider team.
You will work with a team of Carers, Nurses, Team Nurses, Senior Team Nurses, and Lead Nurses in a supportive environment and as a nurse you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality clinical nursing care to meet the diverse individual needs of the children and young people.
You will have experience in clinical nursing assessment, planning and delivering care which will be evidence based in conjunction with Julias House policies and procedures to deliver safe care to children and young people with complex needs that will often change.

Julias House supports more than 140 families across Dorset and Wiltshire, in the community, at our hospices and in our families own homes.
You will be based at our Dorset Hospice and our Wimborne Care Office and work across Dorset in the homes of the children we look after.
Flexibility is required to cover days, evenings, weekends, school holidays and occasional overnights. There are no set hours for contracted staff, our care is provided at the times requested by our families and is therefore variable. Rotas are prepared 6 weeks in advance.
This role is a 35 hours per week maternity cover contract.
