Job summary

A leading engineering firm is offering an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineering Degree Apprenticeship in Leicester. The programme includes rotations through varied engineering placements, enabling you to gain hands-on experience while studying towards a degree. Starting salaries range from £22,800 in the first year to £43,343 post-apprenticeship. Ideal candidates will have GCSEs and A Level qualifications including Maths and Physics.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths, English, and Science.
  • 104 UCAS points at A Level including Maths and Physics or another STEM subject at grade C or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through 6-month placements across different areas of engineering.
  • Design control systems for nuclear decommissioning.
  • Work on the development of facilities for nuclear fusion reactors.

Skills

GCSEs including Maths, English and Science
A Level including Maths and Physics or another STEM subject
BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering
Access Course with relevant credits
International Baccalaureate including Maths and Physics
T Level in engineering discipline
IELTS score of 6.0

Education

Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above
104 UCAS points
