Overview

At the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) you will join an innovative, forward thinking team with the collective objective of providing first class rehabilitation to our patients. This post is integral to providing senior leadership to nursing and support teams at the NRC, taking deputy ward manager / team leader responsibility for high quality, efficient, safe and compassionate care in a rehabilitation setting. If you are successful, you would become a key part of shaping the service going forwards and contribute, with other professional colleagues, in paving the future of rehabilitation in the UK. The model is to deliver rehabilitation regionally, with the East Midlands being the first, with others to follow. This is a unique opportunity to join the revolution of rehabilitation in the UK and be supported to grow through our developmental programmes at the NRC.   • Work as part of the interdisciplinary team to assess, evaluate and deliver care to patients.
  • Utilise and integrate evidence into practice.

  • Make sound clinical decisions based on the assessment of patients, including that of safe nurse lead discharges.
  • Contribute to leadership, supervision and coordination of nursing and support teams to deliver high quality, efficient, safe and compassionate care in a rehabilitation setting.
