Newly Qualified Solicitor – Employment Law

Location: Northern Ireland

About the Role

A leading Northern Ireland law firm is seeking a newly qualified Employment Law Solicitor to join its expanding Employment Law Department. This exceptional opportunity allows you to join a highly respected firm renowned for delivering technically excellent, commercially pragmatic advice to a diverse client base, including domestic and international businesses, as well as public and private sector organisations.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members, advising on a broad range of employment law matters, gaining exposure to complex tribunal and High Court work and developing expertise across both advisory and contentious employment law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in advising and representing clients in employment tribunal proceedings.
  • Draft, review and maintain employment contracts, policies, handbooks and service agreements.
  • Provide support on employment law compliance, HR policies and risk management.
  • Support senior team members in matters relating to trade union recognition, industrial relations and employee relations.
  • Gain exposure to employment aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Contribute to training sessions and guidance for clients on employment law matters.
