The Opportunity

This role focuses on managing project delivery end‑to‑end, ensuring suppliers, processes and quality systems are ready to meet programme requirements. You will work closely with suppliers, design teams and procurement to achieve the right quality, cost and timing for every project.

What you will do

As a NPI Procurement Specialist, you are accountable for, but not limited to:

  • Lead APQP activities for assigned projects from concept through to PPAP approval, managing all phase‑gate requirements.
  • Coordinate cost, quality and timing expectations across each project and support risk identification, escalation and resolution.
  • Drive quality feedback loops to ensure lessons learned are embedded into future projects and the wider supply base.
  • Work closely with design, procurement, logistics, packaging and supply chain teams to ensure supplier readiness at each project stage.
  • Support multiple NPI and NSI programmes simultaneously, maintaining clear communication and structured project tracking.

  • Interpersonal Relationships: Builds strong working relationships with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to align APQP expectations and timelines. Adapts communication style to maintain engagement and resolve issues quickly.
  • Supply Chain Management: Understands supply‑chain processes that influence APQP progress and supplier capability. Identifies risks or constraints early and uses systems and data to support supplier readiness through each APQP phase.
What You May Have
  • Supplier Management - MFG: Manages supplier performance using established processes and systems to maintain accurate information and capability tracking. Resolves routine issues quickly and escalates risks that may impact APQP progress or project timelines.
