Zest is exclusively recruiting for a long‑standing, award‑winning food manufacturer seeking a proactive NPD Technologist to support product development from concept through to launch. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative team and work on exciting new bakery innovations for national accounts.

You will source ingredients and packaging, taking into account cost and minimum order quantities, while also completing nutritional and shelf‑life testing, including Nutricalc. The role includes setting up new recipes, creating work instructions and preparing packaging details to support successful product launches. Strong communication is essential, as you will collaborate cross‑functionally with Technical, Production, Marketing, and engage with customers. You will also support audits, customer visits and a variety of technical projects as needed.

This opportunity will suit an NPD Technologist who wants to get stuck in and feels confident managing multiple projects while working to tight deadlines.
