A leading national law firm in Bristol is seeking a Non-Contentious Construction Associate/Senior Associate to join their innovative team. The role involves advising clients on significant construction and infrastructure projects and guiding them through contract negotiations. Candidates should have 3+ years PQE and a strong track record in transactional construction work. In return, the firm offers a competitive salary, performance bonuses, and a range of benefits including enhanced parental leave and private healthcare.
NEW opportunity to join a forward-thinking team working on some of the UK's most exciting construction and infrastructure projects. From cutting-edge renewable energy schemes to major developments that shape communities, you'll be part of deals that leave a lasting impact.
Working for a Top 100 national firm, you'll advise a wide range of clients including developers, investors, contractors, consultants, and funders on nationally significant and often first‑of‑its‑kind projects. You can expect to guide clients through standard form contracts like JCT, NEC and FIDIC, tailoring them to suit complex, high‑profile builds. You'll lead on large‑scale infrastructure and development transactions, anticipate risks, and offer smart, commercial solutions that keep things moving. Collaboration is key here and you'll work closely with colleagues in Real Estate, Finance, and Corporate to deliver joined‑up advice.
To be considered you will have at least 3+ years PQE and a solid track record in transactional construction work. You might also have some contentious experience, but it's not essential. What matters is that you're confident leading complex matters, motivated to get stuck into varied workstreams, and keen to build strong client relationships.
In return, you'll be joining a firm with serious ambition and a culture that is refreshingly human, inclusive, and entrepreneurial. A competitive salary, performance bonus, enhanced parental leave, private healthcare, and flexible working options are on offer. You'll also benefit from weekly Lifestyle Hours, birthday leave, sabbaticals every five years, and a suite of wellbeing and CSR initiatives that let you give back in ways that matter to you.
