Job summary

A leading print and communications provider in the East Midlands seeks a No 2 Web Printer following significant growth. The ideal candidate will possess relevant industry experience and support the No 1 by ensuring production targets are met or exceeded. Key responsibilities include controlling manufacturing performance, maintaining quality standards to ISO accreditations, and working in a safe, productive manner in a team-oriented environment. This role involves 36 hours per week on a shift basis with three 12-hour shifts.

An award winning print and communications provider has an opening for a No 2 Web Printer as a result of significant growth. This trusted partner to some of the UK’s most notable brands is looking for someone with relevant industry experience to support the No 1 and ensure targets are met or beaten: making ready by loading plates, obtaining both good fit and colour on start-up using the closed loop colour and auto-registration system on press. You will ensure you work in a safe productive manner, always observing good safe practice.

Requirements

• Control Manufacturing performance and hit set targets.
• Work within a team on shifts to produce high quality commercial print.
• To carry out your duties in order to control the housekeeping and maintenance on press / shift.
• Achieve all quality standards to ISO accreditations standards.
• Help to ensure all waste is segregated for correct disposal (Environmental & Security)
• Achieve a consistent high level of print quality throughout the production run & conduct quality control procedures.

36 hrs per week.

3 x 12hr shifts. 6-6 shifts
