JOB TITLE: Nightshift Cleaning Operative

LOCATION: 3 Lochside View, Edinburgh EH12 9DH

CONTRACT: Permanent, 40h per week

PAY RATE: £12.88 per hour

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

This position is a 40-hour contract. Your role will be to deliver cleaning services to client facilities in and around the building to a high standard. This includes cleaning floors in building reception areas, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, spot cleaning glass doors/windows, cleaning all stainless-steel fixtures and barriers/glass door panels, and dry mopping black marble pillars inside and outside.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Clean and sanitize lifts, wipe all external & internal stainless-steel on lift doors/frames/lift runners, wipe down and remove all smudges from mirrors, sweep and mop floors.
  • Clean restrooms/showers, empty trash, clean and sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, clean shower cubicle partition doors/walls, and sweep and mop tile floors.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
  • Assist team leaders/supervisors when needed to ensure optimum service to clients.
  • Participate in monthly training sessions delivered by the supervisor/line manager as necessary.
