A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NIGHT MANAGER AT THE ALAN HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Reception manager you can expect your working day to include the following.

• Managing a tight nights team on a daily basis
• Running end of day reports to ensure smooth operational running for all departments
• Completing excel spreadsheets to report crucial business information

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...

To succeed in the role of Nights Manager, you will need the following qualities and skills.

• Previous nights hotel experience is required, preferably at supervisor level or higher.
• A passion to provide excellent customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High quality phone etiquette
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
• Knowledge of Opera Cloud or previous Opera versions is preferred but not necessary.
• General bar knowledge, barista experience and basic cocktail experience is welcome.
• Any relevant qualifications are welcome but not necessary
