Overview

Swift Temps Ltd are currently recruiting for NIGHT Shift Parcel Sorters to join our client based in Selby, North Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced warehousing environment. IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE

Shift & Pay

PAY RATE: £12.69 per hour
Working Pattern: Shift Times: 10PM - 6AM, Schedule: 5 - 7 days a week, full time work (Scheduled day off in the week)

Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels on the conveyor belt to ensure they are correctly organised for dispatch
• Working in a warehouse environment
• Placing sorted parcels into cages, preparing them for timely dispatch to their respective destinations.
• Keeping the sorting area clean and organised to ensure smooth operations and safety.
• Following all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or parcel sorting experience preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
• Flexibility to work a 5-day week including weekends.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices.
• Own safety boots and PPE required.

• Attention to Detail: Ensure parcels are sorted accurately to avoid any delivery errors.

• Previous Experience: While previous experience in a similar role is desired, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
