Job summary

A company in engineering solutions is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Liverpool City Region. This role involves conducting engineering checks, handling PPMs, and improving processes. Candidates must have at least NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and experience with conveyor systems is desirable. Working hours are site-based from 8pm to 6am or 9pm to 7am.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is essential.
• Experience gained working with conveyors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete nightly engineering checks such as fire-watch checks and machine checks.
• Complete PPMs on systems and machines.
• Complete work orders and report defects.
• Reactive to breakdowns.
• Looking for process improvements to reduce downtime.

• Complete nightly engineering checks such as fire-watch checks, guard checks, machine checks, emergency stops
• Complete PPMs on systems and machines (conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, motors)
• Complete work orders / requests and report defects
• Reactive to breakdowns
• Looking for process improvements to reduce downtime on Process / Plant

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is essential
• Experience gained working with conveyors is highly desirable
• Start time: 8pm to 6am or 9pm to 7am (Either)
