A leading care home provider is seeking a Night Senior Carer in Herne Bay to supervise Care Assistants and support clinical care for the elderly. The ideal candidate must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and possess a compassionate approach to individualised resident care. As a Night Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
Night Senior Carer responsibilities include supervising and inspiring a team of Care Assistants, supporting the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews, and always respecting the dignity and preferences of residents while creating a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant. We require specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. You will have opportunities for ongoing training to develop your career, with many Senior Carer Assistants progressing into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
