ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced carer with a desire to progress your career to the next level?

Do you prefer to work nights?

Our care teams make a real difference every day, and your professionalism, teamed with kindness and compassion, will be at the core of everything you do. Leading a small team of carers, you’ll be responsible for maintaining wakeful watch on the security and safety of our residents and the home. You’ll ensure that care plans are regularly reviewed, understand the importance of maintaining accurate records, and manage your own and your team’s time effectively to support residents’ wellbeing. Some shifts might be challenging, but you’ll also laugh, have fun, and make lasting memories with our residents.

Joining us means becoming part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside passionate team members dedicated to providing care, warmth, and kindness to all who live and work in our homes.

Located near the Wiltshire town of Calne, Marden Court care home provides devoted, compassionate residential and respite care to 28 residents.

AND IN RETURN

The Trust is a great place to work; we’ve been providing care for almost 1 year and are the second-largest not-for-profit provider in the UK. We reinvest every penny into our residents, colleagues, and care homes. We offer a range of benefits, including a competitive salary, training, and development opportunities.

Benefits include:

  • 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
  • A Company pension
  • Free uniform
  • Free DBS
  • Higher rates of pay at weekends
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme
  • Care Worker Charity membership for wellbeing and financial aid
  • Refer a Friend scheme rewarding you up to £ for each successful recommendation
  • Blue Light Card and “My Rewards” discounts on shopping, days out, restaurants, and more
ABOUT YOU

You’ll have an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or you’ve achieved NVQ Level 2 and are willing to study for NVQ Level 3. You should have experience leading a care team, be eager to progress to roles with greater responsibility, and be willing to undertake relevant training for your career development in a supportive, engaging environment.

You’ll be a positive role model with excellent communication skills and the ability to get along with others. As a supportive leader, you’ll motivate your team to deliver the best care possible to our residents at all times.
