Job description
Overview

Niche Central London consultancy requires an Associate or Associate Director Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join the expanding design studio to run its well-established civils team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and run the civils/bridges-infrastructure design team within the studio, delivering high-quality civil infrastructure projects.
  • Provide design, technical, and project management leadership across schemes, ensuring deliverables meet client and statutory requirements.
  • Manage workloads, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff to support career development.
  • Contribute to winning work and maintaining the studio’s track record on challenging London-based projects.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Chartered member of the ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers).
  • Educated to MEng/MSc level in Civil or Environmental Engineering (minimum 2:1).
  • Good design, project, and team-running experience in UK consultancy, with experience on roads and drainage schemes.
  • Dynamic and ambitious, seeking to work for a high-profile commercial business with scope for career progression to Director-level in the medium term.
Project Focus

Current workload is a mixture of new-build and refurbishments across London in commercial, residential, retail, leisure, and the arts with project values up to £75 million. Many previous projects have been shortlisted and/or won RIBA and IStructE awards.
