Job summary

A prominent NHS organisation is offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Personal Assistant in their Finance, Procurement & Information Teams. This 22-month apprenticeship includes on-the-job training and the chance to gain a Business Administration Level 3 qualification. The role involves diary management, meeting organisation, and providing administrative support. Ideal candidates will have GCSEs in English and Maths, along with strong communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths.
  • Commitment to completion of the Business Administration Level 3 qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Organise and manage diaries for the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Maintain appointments and diary management.
  • Plan and organise meetings and training events.
  • Take notes or minutes and actions at meetings.
  • Act as a point of contact within the Finance Department.

Skills

Good telephone manner and customer services skills
Ability to use own initiative
Ability to communicate effectively
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

Education

GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths
Commitment to Business Administration Level 3 qualification
RSA II typewriting / word processing skills
3-5 further GCSEs at C/4 or above
