Job summary

A major healthcare provider in Basingstoke is seeking Bank Transport Drivers to deliver and collect pharmaceuticals and other essential items. Candidates must hold a full UK Driver Licence with B category entitlement for at least 2 years; D1 category is desirable. Drivers will operate a minibus for staff transport between hospitals. The role requires flexibility for a work pattern of 37.5 hours per week, with some weekends included. This position supports the provision of high-level care to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years holding a full UK Driver Licence with B category entitlement.
• D1 minibus category is an asset.
• Familiarity with collection and delivery routes across Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect pharmaceuticals, laboratory specimens, and parcels.
• Provide NHS staff shuttle transfers using a 16-passenger seat minibus.
• Work independently while following instructions from the Transport Coordinator.
