Overview

A leading provider of cloud and managed services that delivers complex, high-value solutions with long buying cycles involving multiple decision makers is looking for a New Business Development Executive to join the team!

This is a hybrid-working role, 3 days per week in the office. Along with a base salary of up to £35,000 per annum, you will also have the opportunity to earn up to £10,000 per annum in commission!

Responsibilities
  • Identifying, researching and targeting new business opportunities within strategic accounts.
  • Nurturing inbound and marketing-generated leads, converting them into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Engaging key decision makers through multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn).
  • Building account profiles, uncover requirements and presenting solutions to initiate the sales cycle.
  • Setting qualified appointments, demos, or webinars for sales and pre-sales teams.
  • Maintaining accurate lead and activity records in Salesforce to ensure strong pipeline management.
  • Collaborating with SDRs to refine prospecting strategies and drive higher engagement.
  • Supporting the Chief Growth Officer with updates on meeting targets and pipeline progress.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • The ability to research markets, understand customer pain points, and align solutions with their goals.
  • Aspiration to progress into account management or new business within 12-18 months.
  • Previous success in telemarketing, ideally within IT or managed services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confident and engaging phone presence.
  • Proven experience in prospecting and lead generation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools, ideally Salesforce.
  • Degree preferred but not essential.
