Overview

Yorkshire Water Contract – Lanes / SUS. We are recruiting for a Network Technician to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area, Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives. Due to a contract win we are looking for applicants all around the Yorkshire Regions.

Location: Bradford.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain great customer service and communication
  • Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
  • Update and complete site documentation using electronic tablet
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure road worthiness
  • Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks
  • Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Wearing and maintaining in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection and bringing to your supervisor’s attention any defects or shortcomings with the equipment
  • Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment and CCTV sewer pipes
  • Knowledge and direction of drainage systems
  • Conduct surveys and inspections of existing drainage systems
  • Analyse and interpret data from surveys and inspections
  • Ensure that all drainage systems comply with plans
Experience and Qualifications
  • Full UK driving license (Required)
  • Water Jetting Association Red or blue book (required)
  • Banksman
  • Manual Handling
  • Emergency First Aid
  • NRSWA
  • EUSR National Water Hygiene
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • CPC Driver Training (HGV only)
  • Slinger and Signaller
  • Abrasive Wheels

Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
