Overview

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient IT / Network Deployment and Support Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in network infrastructure deployment, IT support, and hands-on experience with Access Control and CCTV systems. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining networked systems as well as supporting the rollout and support of electronic security systems.

Responsibilities

• Network & IT Infrastructure: Install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Network & IT Infrastructure: Conduct site surveys and design network layouts for new installations.
• Network & IT Infrastructure: Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs.
• Network & IT Infrastructure: Provide desktop support (Windows/macOS), including software installation and basic hardware repairs.

• Access Control & CCTV Systems: Install, configure, and maintain IP-based Access Control and CCTV systems.
• Access Control & CCTV Systems: Work with products such as Paxton, Hikvision, Axis, Milestone, Genetec, or similar.
• Access Control & CCTV Systems: Ensure system integration with existing IT infrastructure.
• Access Control & CCTV Systems: Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Access Control & CCTV Systems: Manage user access rights, system backups, and firmware upgrades.

• Support & Maintenance: Provide 1st and 2nd line support for IT and security systems.
• Support & Maintenance: Maintain documentation for network and system configurations.
• Support & Maintenance: Respond to incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Support & Maintenance: Provide remote and on-site technical support as needed.

• Project Involvement: Collaborate with project teams to deliver deployment projects on time and within scope.
• Project Involvement: Liaise with vendors, contractors, and clients on technical matters.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure deployment and support.
• Experience with Access Control and CCTV system installation and configuration.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, PoE systems, and network troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings (e.g., floor plans, wiring diagrams).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications & Certifications

• CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent.
• Microsoft Certified (MCP, MCSA, or higher).
• Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Paxton, Hikvision, Milestone, Genetec).
