The Role

As the Network Security Lead, you will have the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in a wide range of networking technologies.

The Network Security Lead will be responsible for maintaining the network security baseline and other tasks such as vulnerability management, threat detection and monitoring, incident response and security control implementation.

  • Developing and enhancing Network Security baselines
  • Assisting in creation of policies, processes to support the operational network
  • Assisting with development of network config changes
  • Developing appropriate tooling to support Network Security
  • Represent Engineering to our customers and support with collaboration working groups

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with up to 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home.

Essential Experience of the Network Security Lead
  • An understanding of security architecture required within compartmented certified environments.
  • Knowledge of JSP 604, 440 and relevant BS EN standards.
  • Experience in a Network Security role.
  • Experience of ICT systems in complexed environments.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and cataloguing Configuration Management documentation.
Qualifications for the Network Security Lead
  • Experience with Network Security supported by a relevant certificate/ qualification.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. You may be required to achieve Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance once in post.
