Network Security Engineer – Exeter – Hybrid

34,000 - 36,500 + Holiday + Flexitime + Discounts

This role is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader in design and manufacture of fireplaces supplied internationally. The Network Security Engineer will review and manage network services by monitoring internal and external communications, ensuring the security of the organisation's IP. The position heavily focuses on cyber security through penetration testing, failover planning and collaboration with the Group IT team to support Active Directory, web connectivity and endpoint security.

  • Ensure optimal IP and protection.
  • Support core IT systems.
The Person:
  • Expert in LAN/WAN/VLAN, VPN, wireless communications.
  • Proficient in firewall management (Fortigate preferred).
  • Knowledgeable in TCP/IP, Linux, Windows and virtualization (VMware).
  • Proven track record within a similar role (Cybersecurity Engineer, Security Engineer, Network Analyst).
