A leading defense organization in Manchester is seeking a Network Engineer to enhance its network infrastructure. This dynamic role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions, ensuring reliability and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking principles and experience with Cisco and Juniper technologies. Up to £50,000 depending on experience
2-3 days per week on-site depending on business need (i.e. we may require more than two/three days onsite during some working weeks).
British National
This role will require DV Clearance, and restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply (British National). The successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Clearance (SC) checks, which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team, prior to their DV application process.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our network solutions to ensure reliability/availability and to protect against evolving threats.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll work on implementing changes securely, identifying vulnerabilities, managing network incidents and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
