Job description

i am recruiting for a Network Engineer to be based in Norwich. You will need to travel to other client sites.

The role falls inside IR35 so you will be required to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities

• You will provide technical expertise for the design and maintenance of the data network, security infrastructure and telephony systems.
• You will be expected to be the technical lead on new projects and implementations working closely with the Project Management Office and other technical colleagues where necessary.
• You will investigate and diagnose complex network, security and telephony problems, working with customers, other staff and suppliers as appropriate, and resolve such problems, co-operating with the Technical Support team to maintain overall network performance and availability.

Qualifications

• You will hold Cisco CCNA certification.
• You must have strong experience of working in large network environments.
• In depth knowledge of up-to-date Networking, Security and Telecoms systems and services is required for this role.
