Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Cisco hardware including Switches, Firewalls and Routers.
• Experience working with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Highly experienced with Cisco IOS and comfortable with high-availability environments.
• Experience with WAN technologies including point-to-point links and MPLS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of infrastructure and back-office related services.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate issues for networking related products.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex systems.
• Produce procedural documentation for use by IT and customers.

The Network Team provides expertise to design & implement network related projects and support day‑to‑day operational activities.

What you will be doing

• Ensure the availability of infrastructure and back‑office related services
• Problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, escalation and notification for all networking related products/hardware
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex systems and drive performance optimisations
• Produce procedural documentation for use by IT and customers
• Handle escalated customer/business issues at the appropriate level
• Assist in solving difficult customer/business and technical issues
• Liaison with other analysts or team members to share and develop ideas, also co‑ordinate input to projects

What we are looking for

• Excellent knowledge of Cisco hardware including Switches, Firewalls and Routers, including Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, ASR, ASA. (Non‑Cisco skills will be considered).
• Excellent knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls
• Highly experienced working with Cisco IOS, VLANs, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and comfortable working on resilient systems in high‑availability environments
• Experience with Meraki or similar wireless systems
• Experience with WAN technologies including point‑to‑point links and MPLS
• Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
• Experience in a multi‑site, similar sized multiple lines of business company
