We currently have Network Controller vacancies for our Customer Field Services department. These roles will be mobile workers and we will be looking for people who live in the North, East, South and West Yorkshire areas, helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to customers.
These are permanent opportunities working 37 hours per week, with rotational work patterns. Once fully trained, you will be expected to take part in an out of hours standby; flexibility outside of working core hours is essential.

The Network Controller is a field-based role with some office work where required. You will work with the management team to improve customer service and sewer system performance, aiming to deliver a first-time fix and quality follow-on work in accordance with our standards and specifications.
Ownership of investigations linked to our ODI performance. Handling escalated sewer system issues and ensuring they are resolved or progressed in a timely fashion. Support with delivering a first-time fix/same-day solution to customer and environmental problems and to deliver the asset plan for network maintenance to eliminate escapes.
You will work closely with other Yorkshire Water teams and contracted partners on site to resolve and manage escalated operational issues on the sewers.
You will undertake thorough and timely investigations of escalated issues on our sewerage system to resolve and prevent repeat issues and to support operational teams with investigations into sewer asset problems.
You will need to utilise IT systems to collate information and relay feedback and progress rechargeable works. You will ensure Health and Safety working practices and procedures are always complied with. When making day-to-day business decisions you will be required to demonstrate financial awareness and provide technical support to ensure a fix-first-time resolution and that the most cost-effective resolution is promoted.
