Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in King's Lynn is seeking a Ward Manager for their Neonatal Unit. The successful candidate will provide managerial leadership and oversee high-quality care for newborns and their families. You will be responsible for managing staff and resources, motivating the team, and providing expert clinical guidance. Responsibilities

• Manage staffing and financial resources effectively.
• Plan nursing rotas and ensure staff communication.
• Motivate neonatal staff to maintain high standards.
• Provide clinical advice to staff delivering care to babies.
• Be responsible for developing care policies for sick babies.

Skills

Clinical expertise within specialty

Teaching learners in the clinical environment

Managing change

Evidence of managing and improving the patient experience

Experience with working with Patient electronic records

Education

Current registration with NMC: RGN/RSCN/RNC

Educated to degree level or demonstrates significant experience of neonatal nursing

NLS

Teaching and assessing qualification or equivalent

Educated to masters level in a subject relevant to the area
