Job summary

A leading healthcare trust in Greater London is seeking a Clinical Specialist Dietitian for their neonatal units. This position will involve leading nutritional care, managing junior dietitians, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate must possess HCPC registration, relevant experience in paediatrics, and a commitment to professional development. Offering a salary between £64,156 and £71,148, this full-time permanent role requires effective communication and a passion for improving neonatal care.

Qualifications

  • Evidence of ongoing CPD.
  • Experience of audit, service evaluation or service development/QI.
  • Experience of developing and teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nutrition and dietetics across both neonatal services.
  • Provide clinical, operational management and leadership of more junior dietitians.
  • Provide specialist advice within the neonatal services.

Skills

HCPC registration
Post-registration experience as Band 6 or 7 in paediatric areas including neonates
Experience of MDT working
Clinical skills and ability to assess patients
Enthusiastic and motivated to work towards 8a level

Education

Completion of BDA level 5 and enhanced neonatal dietetic module
Post-graduate courses relevant to specialty
