The Royal Oldham Hospital NICU, part of the North West Neonatal Network, is seeking a talented and experienced Neonatal Bereavement Nurse/Midwife to join our team. Our state-of-the-art unit offers comprehensive care for sick newborns, featuring:

  • 9 Intensive Care Cots
  • 9 High Dependency Cots
  • 19 Special Care Cots
  • 4 Transitional Care Cots

If you bring significant post-specialist neonatal experience and are eager to support bereavement services, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Responsibilities
  • Guide and support families through confidential, memory-making experiences during grief and bereavement
  • Act as a compassionate role model, educator, and mentor for staff and students, fostering a culture of best practice
  • Promote a supportive environment where families feel cared for and remembered with dignity
  • Utilise your expertise to influence and improve care standards, ensuring that every family receives the highest quality support
