Overview

A live-in nanny-housekeeper is needed in Birmingham, West Midlands to help care for three school-aged children and maintain the cleanliness of the home while the children are at school. The family seeks a responsible, nurturing candidate who can balance childcare and household tasks effectively. Flexibility to join for 3 to 4 weeks per year when the family travels is ideal. Fluency in Tagalog is ideal but English-speaking candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Engage the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
• Encourage early literacy by reading books to the children; provide homework assistance and support educational growth.
• Establish and maintain consistent daily routines to support structure and development.
• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the private residence.
• Perform routine floor care (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping), dusting, and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers; clean and maintain the kitchen area.
• Wash, dry, and organise clothing and linens; manage laundry tasks including ironing and folding; make beds and replace linens as needed.
• Clean and organise dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.

Working Details

• Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
• Hours: 6 days per week from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with 2–3 hours break each day; approximately 55–60 hours per week.
