Overview

A lovely family in Notting Hill, London is looking for a full-time nanny-housekeeper to provide attentive care for their newborn, expected to arrive in October 2025. They’re seeking a responsible and nurturing professional with solid experience in newborn care, who can also manage household tasks smoothly.

Key duties
  • General childcare, keeping the home clean and organised, and cooking for the family—especially batch-prepared meals, ideally with a background in European cuisine.
  • Occasionally feeding the family cat.
  • Duties include drop off and pick up to school and other activities; assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants; bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children; ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children; preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children; keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy; engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park; helping with family meals, meal planning, shopping and cooking.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence; performing routine floor care (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping); dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces; cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities (sinks, bathtubs, showers); cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area; washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens; managing laundry tasks (ironing and folding); making beds and replacing linens as needed; cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
Requirements
  • Solid experience in newborn care; ability to manage both childcare and household tasks.
  • General housekeeping duties and meal preparation experience; preferably batch cooking and European cuisine background.
  • Valid first aid qualification is required for this role.
  • Knowledge of French or Spanish would be a bonus, but English-speaking applicants are equally welcome.
  • Live-out is preferred, but they are open to considering live-in candidates for the right person.
Working hours

Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
