Job description
Overview

A lovely family in Richmond is seeking a warm, trustworthy, and experienced Part‑time Live‑out Nanny Housekeeper to support their household and care for their two children. The role focuses primarily on caring for the baby, while also supporting with school/nursery drop‑offs and pick‑ups for the older child. The school is approximately a 20‑minute walk or 5‑minute drive from the family home. Fluency in English is essential, and a driver would be a bonus. A separate cleaner is employed, so housekeeping is light and focused on organisation and children‑related areas.

Working Hours

Any 3 days per week, between Monday and Thursday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Duties
  • dressing the children or assisting with dressing
  • preparing and planning milk, meals, and snacks
  • supervising mealtimes and feeding the baby
  • cleaning bottles and tidying after children’s meals
  • changing nappies
  • shopping for children’s items when required
  • scheduling and coordinating local activities
  • engaging the children in age‑appropriate creative, educational, and outdoor activities
  • planning and supervising nap times, rest times, and bedtime routines
  • encouraging positive behaviour and supporting routine development
  • laundry, ironing, and folding
  • making beds; washing and changing linens
  • sweeping/vacuuming after children’s mealtimes
  • loading/unloading the dishwasher when needed
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be nurturing, confident, proactive, and safety‑aware, with strong experience caring for babies and young children. Someone who can manage childcare responsibilities independently while also assisting with light household tasks related to the children would be a great fit. A valid first‑aid qualification is a must.
