We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, जुलाई experienced, enthusiastic, and committed Nurse to join our Public Health Nursing team in North East Lincolnshire to undertake the Named Nurse role.

*Please note - you must be a registered nurse with SCPHN qualification for this role.

What will your day look like?

As the Named Nurse for Safeguarding, you will lead safeguarding practice across our Public Health Nursing service in North East Lincolnshire. You'll provide expert advice to practitioners, ensure statutory safeguarding requirements are met, and promote the welfare of children and adults.

You will help shape long term safeguarding strategy, work closely with partner agencies, and model a strong safeguarding culture. You will also lead a small team of specialist nurses, offering high quality supervision, training, and professional support.

Reporting to the Head of Service, you'll contribute to quality assurance, service improvement, and effective multi agency communication.

  • Advanced safeguarding experience
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory frameworks
  • The ability to deliver and champion high quality safeguarding practice
  • Confidence providing expert advice across North East Lincolnshire Council
  • Experience delivering safeguarding supervision and training

It is a contractual and essential requirement that the successful candidate is registered with the DBS Update Service. You have 30 calendar days from the "date of issue" printed on your standard or enhanced DBS certificate to register for the DBS Update Service using the certificate number.
