Salary: MPS/UPS - Paid to Scale

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Music Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Redcar from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative educator to make a real impact, nurturing students' musical abilities and encouraging a lifelong passion for music.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute at Key Stage 5. You will inspire students through practical and theoretical lessons, and play a key part in shaping a vibrant musical culture within the school.

You will also support extracurricular activities, including school concerts, music clubs, and events, helping students grow in confidence and creativity beyond the classroom.

We welcome applications from qualified teachers who are passionate about music and education. The ideal candidate will bring energy, subject expertise, and a proactive approach to both curriculum delivery and wider school life.

Essential:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in Music or a related field
