Music Teacher – Nottingham

Full‑Time - Temporary (Monday 23rd February 2026 – Wednesday 22nd July 2026)

A secondary school in the Nottingham area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their team on a full‑time, temporary basis. The role will commence after the February half term and continue for the remainder of the academic year.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective Music lessons at KS3 and GCSE level, supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach KS3 and GCSE Music classes.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high‑quality lessons.
  • Monitor pupil progress and support student attainment.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
Essential Requirements
  • Recent experience teaching Music.
  • Relevant teaching qualification with QTS.
  • Proven experience teaching KS3 & GCSE.
