Overview

A large national Property maintenance company is looking for an experienced Painter/Decorator to be based at a large mobile site in and around Cambridgeshire (main towns Cambridge, Peterborough, Stevenage, Hitchin, Luton, Bedford, Haverhill).

Permanent, Full time. Repairs & Maintenance Operative. Salary £30,000 - £33,000 + company van and fuel card, benefits.

Role

We are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled operative to join our team. Working across Cambridgeshire, main towns Cambridge, Peterborough, Stevenage, Hitchin, Luton, Bedford, Haverhill.

Responsibilities

• Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties, undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work including minor plumbing, joinery, tiling, kitchen and bathroom fitting etc within a social housing setting.
• Receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely in line with best practices to achieve excellent customer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• NVQ level 2 Building Maintenance Operative (or equivalent).
• Ideally CSCS Blue Skilled Workers Card.
• H&S knowledge.
• Customer focused with experience in occupied and void properties.
• Social Housing maintenance is desirable.
• You must have your own tools and hold a valid full UK driving license for at least 12 months.
